Antique copper Painting – Tutorial

Materials Required
Velvet Cloth
Hardboard
Trace Design
Yellow Carbon
Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Gold 352
Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Copper 353
Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Silver 351
Kundan Stones
How to do?
Its quiet simple.
Select the design you want and cut the velvet cloth of the required size and paste it on the hardboard.
Now trace the design on the velvet cloth using yellow carbon paper.
The above 3 colors i have used Because its antique painting and we use most of the time gold and copper color, silver we can u use either directly or can mix either with gold or copper to get a lighter shade.
In this shading is important (the image u select for painting, imagine if u through light one side of it how it looks.example:In this painting a lady is standing with a dupatta covering her face, now if i throw light on her face, her face shines and light on her dupatta fades.
I mean it comes under darker side of light, so when you paint her face should be brighter.
It would b better if we use gold mix with silver and dupatta part should be faded, which means the color should be thick, gold and wet stokes with copper. Once it finishes use can use kundan’s to highlight(its optional. In case if you want to use make sure they look decent and should go with the painting).hope u understood.
