0

Hi….
This is a very simple and easy sling bag to make. I have used Lark foot Stitch.

Materials Required

Laura Knitting Cotton 2 contrasting colors
Crochet hook 3.5mm

Abbreviation

Ch- Chain Stitch
SC – Single Crochet
DC – Double Crochet
Sk – Skip
SlSt – Slip Stitch

Round 1: Chain 65. Single Crochet (SC) in
the second stitch from the hook – 64 SC.
Slipstitch (slst) to the first SC

Round 2: Chain (Ch) 3, Double Crochet (Dc) in
the next two stitches Chain 1, Skip (sk) 1, 3DC.
Repeat till end and Slst to 3rd Ch of Ch 3

Round 3: Repeat Round 2

Round 4
: Start with a new color. Ch 4( counts as 1dc
and 1ch), sk 1, 1dc (over the 3rd Dc in the row below),
1 elongated dc ( encompassing the space of this and
the row below it), 1 dc in the next stitch. This is the
pattern for this round. Slst to 1 dc.

Round 5: Repeat Round 3

Round 6: Repeat Round 4

Keep repeating Round 3 and 4. Keep Repeating until you reach the desired
length

Last round Single Crochet in each stitch
space. Close the base of the bag by either sewing or doing
slst using same color yarn

For the Sling:

I have made a long Foundation Single Crochet (Fsc) chain for my
bag strap. You can either leave a long tail and then start on your
fsc chain (so that you can use that tail to attach onto one side of
the bag) and then leave a tail at the other end of the attachment
or you can just attach after completion of the strap. Length is
totally variable and depends on you as well as the stretch of your
yarn.
