How to paint on OHP sheet?

OHP sheet painting

OHP sheet painting

How to make?
I have used acrylic colour for the filling and pearl fineliners for the outline. OHP sheet is a transparent sheet used for presentation by BE students. It is similar to glass and can be used as an alternative. It is easy to store, no need to frame and also cheap. U get it at all stationary shops and it costs Rs.3 per sheet.(OHP= Over Head Projector) also called transparent A4 size sheet.

  10. At first i kept the design printout below and the “OHP” sheet above and secured it. later i drew the outline with the respective pearl out liners( fevicryl). Later i filled the picture with acrylic colour and highlighted the jewellery and other required parts with gold 3d liners. This is not a reverse painting or something of that sort, but just a simple painting done on OHP sheet to save time from copying the design onto another sheet. Then I have given a paper painted with shaded yellow colour for the background and secured it to the OHP sheet using cellotape. If wanted u can frame it.

Beautiful idea, thanks for sharing! fyi for those from North America…you can buy these transperencies at stationary stores. You can get slightly thicker version of it at craft stores like Michaels, Joann fabrics as well as Hobby Lobby stores. Instead of acrylic paints that may not adhere well to this thin plastic, you can use paints that are meant to mimic stained glass paints (also available at the above mentioned craft stores and online).
